Addae-Adia {[ah-day] - Adia} is a premium newborn clothing brand offering soothing, unisex outfits crafted with
unparalleled fabric quality. Inspired by its name, meaning “Morning Sun and Gift from God,” the brand aims to
create a distinct identity that embodies warmth, purity, and timeless design. Designed for modern parents
seeking comfort and neutrality, Addae-Adia stands out in the crowded premium newborn apparel market with an
authentic and calming aesthetic.
The Challenge
The market for newborn clothing is saturated with brands relying heavily on
traditional gendered color schemes and predictable motifs. Our challenge was to
disrupt these conventions while establishing a visual identity that reflects the
brand’s premium positioning and resonates with its target audience.
Our Ideation
The Addae-Adia brandmark draws inspiration from the morning sun and sky. We
designed an elegant, minimalist logo that balances softness and sophistication,
appealing to modern parents. Breaking free from traditional pinks and blues, we
curated a palette that embodies neutrality and inclusivity, combining purple, peach
and accents of gold.
The resulting identity for Addae-Adia achieved a sophisticated balance of warmth
and refinement, allowing the brand to connect emotionally with its audience while
standing out visually in a crowded market.
